Hello all,

I have Lotus Notes Client 8.0.2 together with Domino server 8.0.2. I want to upgrade the Notes Client 8.0.2 to 8.0.2 FP5.

I have followed the instructions in the ebook TNDA-Smart Upgrade - Fix Pack 1.

But unless I have backdated the fields SU_NEXT_Update and SUT_Next_UPdate in the notes.ini file, the upgrade is not triggered.

My question is, the purpose of Smart Upgrade is to avoid going individually to workstations to install the upgrade. But if we need to manually change the notes.ini file on each workstation, then what is the use of Smart Upgrade.

Is there something I am missing.

Kindly help.
